HERITAGE HIP
Heritage Hip is a thoughtful reimagining of a classic heritage home, designed and built in close collaboration with the homeowner who built the home himself.
The original structure was lifted and reworked to allow for a dramatic kitchen extension, opening upward to a vaulted ceiling that floods the space with light. A highly modern aesthetic is intentionally juxtaposed against preserved heritage details, creating a layered dialogue between old and new. Thoughtful transitions between spaces via concealed doors, an open-plan bedroom and bathroom, and creative tile installations add moments of surprise and originality throughout the home, pulled together with the custom designed furnishings. The result is a refined yet expressive family residence: warm, architectural, and deeply considered. A true conversation piece that balances character, craftsmanship, and modern sophistication.
